We are an Award Winning, Chartered and Accredited boutique firm, blending the highest possible standards in lifestyle financial planning with what we modestly think is best in class discretionary portfolio management. We deliver an exceptional service to our clients including the very highest level of holistic financial planning. We are a dynamic, forward thinking firm that is growing rapidly. We offer all our employees the opportunity to progress through the company, and encourage self development through study, coaching and mentoring.
The role is all about delivering our client service. You will work within our Wealth Management Team to provide our Wealth Management service to our clients, with a team approach. Working directly with the Wealth Managers, the role will include preparing advice and reports for clients including financial plans with cash flow modelling, risk profile reports, pension reports, investment reports and inheritance tax planning reports, and preparing any other advice and reports clients need, to deliver client’s lifestyle aims and objectives, whilst ensuring that compliance procedures are followed and file checks are completed.
We require a minimum of Level 4 Diploma, ideally you will have progressed to Level 6 qualifications, and we would expect you to achieve Chartered Financial Planner status in the near future. Further qualifications such as STEP will also be encouraged. Ideally you will be an experienced paraplanner with a focus on delivering wealth management service to clients. This is a technical role to prepare complex financial planning advice, but also requires the personality to work in a team environment. Attention to detail and the desire to produce the highest quality reports and correspondence is vital.
We would like someone who over the longer term wants to progress to become a Wealth Manager. Firstly this could progress to a dual paraplanner / Wealth Manager role, taking on responsibility for client meetings and client service over time, and potentially progressing into a full Wealth Manager role. Full support, mentoring and training will be given.
This is an office based role in Chelmsford city centre (with parking!) and a salary range from £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience. Additional employee benefits such as death in service, PMI and Income Protection are also provided.
