Relationship Manager

Hartsfield

Bristol

About us

Hartsfield are a team of independent financial planners with offices across the South West. Our purpose is to improve our clients’ financial wellbeing, something that we’ve been doing for over ten years.

We embrace full Lifestyle and Financial Planning to truly understand what matters most to our clients and deliver a personalised service through the use of small teams (which we call ‘pods’) so that our clients have named points of contact with their local team.

Our values are important to us and we maintain a small family feel, which we intend to retain even as our company grows as we set up new pods in other locations. We do what it is right to do, not just what we have a right to do, and with that we maintain an honesty and authenticity which we and our clients value.

Several of our team sit as trustees on our company’s recently established charitable trust and we look forward to carrying out more charitable work to benefit the local community as we ease out of the current Covid-19 lockdown.

Our team have all been able to work remotely since COVID and have barely missed a beat which we’re really proud of.

We look for technical solutions to enhance and streamline the advice that we provide, aiming to therefore maximise the amount of time we spend actually talking to our clients.

Having undergone a rebrand, developed new websites for the three areas of our business (Planning, Investment and Trustee) and launched a client portal (Hartsfield Insight) during 2020; you would be joining Hartsfield at an exciting time in our development as we seek to grow our business through the rest of the year and on into 2021.

We are passionate about developing our staff. If you are interested in learning and growing with an organization we want to talk to you. Whether you are looking for a more technical role within our investments or paraplanning roles or more people facing such as a financial planner, you will be fully supported on your journey.

The role

Due to one of our brilliant relationship managers taking maternity leave we are seeking a temporary relationship manager for 1 year. This role is likely to become a permanent position for the right candidate with a varied path depending on their career aspirations.

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Implementing all areas of advice across pensions, investments, and insurance.
  • Arranging annual reviews and managing their planner’s calendars
  • Onboarding clients onto our Hartsfield Insight App
  • Organising the client files and ensuring they are compliant and accessible on our document storage system (volume)
  • Chasing clients and providers for outstanding information
  • Acting as the first point of contact for clients within the pod
  • Ensuring business is completed in an efficient manner

The requirements

Our team ethos is vitally important to us and we only want to expand our team if we can do so with likeminded people.

A small company is not for everyone but, if you would like to be treated like a grown up, work where your thoughts and opinions really count for something and where suggestions made one day can be implemented the next, we would like to hear from you. We’ve just started getting responses back to our annual staff survey and the feedback is consistent; our team enjoy working somewhere they can make a difference, feel like they’ve made a contribution to the success of the company and share in the rewards that this brings.

What difference would you like to make?
