Trainee Financial Planner

Providus

Highams Park, London

Want a job that can genuinely change lives? A rewarding and challenging role that can help your clients to live the life they want with the money they have? If so, and you’re reliable, disciplined, and a great listener, we’d love to hear from you.

Antony Smith founded Providus Financial in 2015 with a mission to do things differently. Having worked in firms who were more focused on the ‘sale’ than on clients’ lives, Antony established Providus to provide genuinely transformative financial planning advice.

Over the last five years, we’ve grown significantly and now we’re looking for a trainee financial planner to take on existing client relationships and build new ones. As we continue to grow, there will be additional opportunities for you to progress your career.

We believe that financial planning transforms lives. It’s not about getting the best returns on investments or building more wealth. Money is a tool to facilitate the things we want from life, and we’re looking for someone who shares our passion for helping our clients achieve their goals.

As the successful candidate, you can expect to be supported to achieving Registered Life Planner status in your journey towards becoming a financial planner and making a real difference in clients’ lives.

Whilst training, you’ll gain valuable experience in paraplanning, build cash flow models, undertake technical analysis of existing pensions and investments, write reports, and provide support for our clients. You’ll be involved in client meetings and we’ll help you to develop both technical and soft skills to enable your success.
